We come from India. We bring India to you. Rangla Punjab was founded in 2005, and since then we have maintained almost the same team, based on an Indian family. Over the years, we have perfected the art of preparing the best of Indian cuisine to suit the Portuguese palate. At Rangla Punjab, customers stay for life and become friends. Rangla Punjab means “The mix of colors and flavors in Punjab (an Indian city).” And that’s what we like to offer our customers: flavors and experiences of India in its best tradition.

2005

Opening of the First Restaurant

In the city of Montijo, in the riverside area, we decided to start this dream. We opened an intimate restaurant where customers truly feel like they are in India. The kitchen, always in the hands of the owners, is also different from anything that existed and keeps customers loyal for life.

Opening of the Alcochete Restaurant

With the growth of our “reputation,” we have more and more customers from the town of Alcochete, who suggested we open a Rangla Punjab there. And so we did, and today it is a success, with a great impact on the local community. It’s located on “Rua Direita,” and everyone greets us with a smile as they pass by, as is customary in Alcochete!

Opening of the Delicious Food Corner

To cater to a segment of our customers who love our pasta and pizzas, we opened a restaurant more focused solely on the Italian and Portuguese aspects of gastronomy. A success that rewards all the effort in maintaining focus on what our customers ask for!

New Restaurant in Montijo

As a result of a new strategy and because we want to provide better conditions for our customers and friends, we moved the Montijo restaurant to the Delicious Food Corner premises. We completely remodeled the space, and today we have a modern place with typical Indian decor where the compliments from those who visit us are the motivation to look to the future with confidence.
